The ergonomics of the lens are excellent, fingers find the controls intuitively. The diaphragm consists of 6 matte blades. Focus ring rotates 210 degrees. MC Helios-44K-4 is able to draw sharp in the center of the frame and contrasting pattern starting from the open aperture, and also gives natural light and good contrast, in the shadows elaboration of details. Most importantly, super bokeh with a swirling effect (see example photo).
