Legendary Soviet super-aperture lens Jupiter-3 1.5 / 50 P. Made at the Zagorsk Optical and Mechanical Plant in 1959. The focus ring rotates 180 degrees. The specimen is interesting for its 13-blade diaphragm. The diaphragm can be adjusted smoothly, without fixed intermediate values. Few lenses boast 13 aperture blades that form a perfectly straight aperture. The lens forms a very beautiful, flexible picture with good contrast, has a "characteristic" pattern (see photo examples). An amazing combination of softness and sharpness, beautiful bokeh - made it very popular among portrait photographers of the Soviet era. Fastening - M39 thread. Set with a tube, covers.
