The Leica C digital compact camera (Type 112) was announced in September 2013. The model is based on the compact Panasonic Lumix LF1, but the body has been slightly redesigned and instead of the Panasonic PHOTOfunSTUDIO application, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom has been added to the product.

Ergonomics and functionality:
One of the main advantages of this camera is a rugged compact body combined with an elegant design. The camera is equipped with a module, as well as NFC, thanks to which you can remotely release the shutter, as well as directly record files on a smartphone or tablet. It has a wide range of functions and manual settings and also offers a wide range of automatic modes, as well as the ability to process files directly in the camera. The controls are intuitive, which allows you to focus on the most important thing - on the shooting process.
The 3-inch display gives you full control over the exposure while playing movies in full-HD quality. In strong lighting conditions, or for photographers who are accustomed to setting the frame with the eye, a sharp viewfinder will come to the rescue.
All material, both photo and video, can be processed after shooting directly in the camera in the professional software Adobe® Photoshop® Lightroom®, built into the device itself.
Shooting quality and examples of photos:
Thanks to its high focal length range and excellent image quality, the Leica DC Vario-Summicron 6–42.8 mm f / 2–5.9 ASPH. (equivalent to 28-200 mm in 35 mm format) satisfies the entire range of photographers' needs. From wide-angle landscapes, dynamic reporter shots, right up to portrait and macro photography.
The pictures are extremely clear and contrasting with natural color reproduction. This is the result of the combination of a powerful matrix and high quality optics. Plus an unusually fast autofocus, the ability to take 10 pictures per second, and a software ring on the lens. On it, you can also set the aperture or other parameters like on DSLRs.
The Leica C is a compact and stylish camera with great potential. Thanks to its high focal length range, the camera satisfies the entire spectrum of photographers' needs: from wide-format landscapes, dynamic reporter shots, right through to portrait and macro photography. Leica C - will become an indispensable travel companion.
